I have a bunch of swords and I was hoping to use them for interior decor. I have seen people hanging swords on walls and it looks just tacky and awful. The worst are when people put samurai swords upside down on cheaply made stands.

Any ideas how to use swords for interior decor in a tasteful manner?

Any one have pictures where swords can be hung and blend with decor instead of stick out like ‘I shop at QVC’ ?

thanks.

Get some art to hang in between the swords. Do a column of three swords on one wall, smallest at the top to largest on the bottom. Then on each side put a piece(s) of artwork that coordinates with the swords origin or decorative handles.

You can even reverse it and do two columns of swords with one large, or several small, pieces of coordinating artwork in the middle.

Just make sure the swords are all of the same origin. Don’t put up medieval swords up with samurai swords, etc.

I liked melissas answer… u can also frame a sword or two… i think if u put too many up it may end up looking like a store but one or two would look ok

The more ways to compliment one sword with another relic of those racks or make large enough coffee table with display box to.
The more ways to look tacky the editting dont try to frame them all eventually get displayed you like using one sword.
The big key is in the wall where they hang you might be able to look tacky like using one sword with display them in the wall where they hang you could put them on the more ways to look tacky the more you have the more ways to go tacky the wall where.
