How to use sectioned pine logs from a tree taking down creatively for landscape decor?

I just cut down a pine and would like to use the wood creatively. I am thinking along the line of setting sectioned logs upright and doing a raised flower bed or some type of grouping of different height logs…not sure. Any suggestions?

The ground it will last longer even then you can keep it few inches above the bark to break down after couple years in contact with soil if you can keep it will last longer.
